Think of the most probable choices. A family member, a friend, a lover, or maybe even a celebrity. If you picked a celebrity, you might as well stop reading and return to your television set. Family, friends and lovers are so intertwined yet one or another often goes underappreciated. Call home. Call that childhood friend of yours that you haven’t talked to in years. Shit, call anyone who will recognize your voice the moment you say hi and do just that. Say hi. Say hi to your mom. I know she would love to hear your voice. And when you’re done, say hi to your dad. I know he would love to hear your voice too. But most importantly, listen. Listen to what they have to say because I guarantee you will be glad you did.
